02So what is the banner for
To get your answer before there is anything to set. The day analytics are added, they will start only for people who accepted, and never retroactively for those who refused. Asking permission afterwards is taking it.
03Your choice is not a cookie
It is kept in your browser's local storage, under the key “vt-consent”. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing travels with your requests. Clearing the site's data erases it, and the banner comes back.
04What refusing changes
Nothing on screen. No page, document or feature depends on your answer. Refusing does not degrade the site, and there is no second banner to change your mind.
05Changing your mind
The button at the foot of this page reopens the banner. Your new answer replaces the old one immediately.
