Returns
A faulty part, five steps
A complete request is settled in days; a request with no label and no photograph stops at the first question. Here is exactly what to provide.
- 01
Read the label
The SKU, the batch number and the originating plant are on the part label and etched into the clamps. Without them a part cannot be tied to a production batch, and the request stops there.
- 02
Photograph three things
The whole part, the defect close up, and the label legible. Three photographs settle most cases without a physical return, and save paying freight for nothing.
- 03
Open the request
By email, with the photographs, the order reference and a description of how the part was used when it failed: span, load, duration. That last line is what separates a manufacturing defect from an overload.
- 04
Wait for the RMA number
Issued within 2 working days. Do not ship anything before you have it: a parcel with no RMA number cannot be matched to a case, and it waits on the dock.
- 05
Ship with the number visible
The RMA number on the outside of the parcel. A decision within 10 working days of receipt: replacement, repair or a reasoned refusal. Never silence.
Before you ship
No return is accepted without an RMA number. A parcel arriving without one cannot be matched to a case. It waits on the dock, and nobody knows whose it is.
